The forest.
Behind my back there is always the forest.
I look, mimic, get inspired.
Boiling down to concentrated dye baths. Dyeing yarn and fabrics.
Seeing how it gets.
Sometimes nothing. Sometimes fantastic.
”Forest stripe” is a collection of hand-woven interior textiles, with strips and stripes from the forest.
During ”3 days of Design” in Copenhagen May 23-25, I will show ”Forest stripe", together with "Arctic design of Sweden", at Illum and at the Swedish Embassy.
